We are seeking a self-motivated, licensed psychologist, license-eligible psychologist, or post-doctoral fellow (i.e., requiring supervision toward licensure) to become part of our diverse family of professionals committed to evidence-based practice serving a wide variety of individuals, couples, and families. The successful applicant will be a creative, energetic, self-starter who enjoys presenting workshops and at conferences, sharing their knowledge, and continuing to learn.
- Training completed in a clinical or school psychology doctoral program.
- Training, experience, and interest in the fields of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and 3rd wave CBT (e.g., ACT, DBT, MBSR).
- Experience in and passion for providing individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults; group therapy; social skills training; school-based consultation; psychoeducational evaluations; and functional behavior assessments.
- Desired – Experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and/or is a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA).

Behavior Therapy Associates is seeking to collaborate with a board certified Psychiatrist to join our psychologists and BCBAs in a very busy, well-established, outpatient private practice. The ideal psychiatrist has experience treating children, adolescents and adults with a range of diagnoses. Additionally, the psychiatrist must be licensed in New Jersey and should be board certified or board eligible in child and adult psychiatry.
Our practice specializes in the treatment of autism spectrum disorders, ADHD and other disruptive behavior disorders, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. We provide evaluations, school-based consultation, behavioral parent training, individual therapy, family and couples therapy, social skills groups, group therapy, etc. We are looking to collaborate with a psychiatrist who has a strong commitment to diagnosis, consultation, medication management, and a multi-modal approach. Good interpersonal skills are essential.
There is the opportunity for flexible days and hours in our office. Most of BTA’s clients pay for services out-of-pocket, with limited involvement in managed care. We can provide office space, support from administrative staff, and ongoing collaboration with the clinicians in our practice.
