High Functioning Autism and Anxiety Workshop

Individuals with high functioning autism often struggle with significant anxiety, fears, obsessive compulsive symptoms and ritualistic behaviors. These symptoms can greatly impact their learning environment and can lead to disruptive behaviors in the classroom and to school avoidance. Participants will learn how to recognize the symptoms of anxiety among students with high functioning autism and learn strategies to better manage their anxious symptoms.
The Professional Development Academy is located within the ESCNJ Campus and building numbers are not visible from the street. Once on campus there is a PDA sign at the entrance to the building.
